Welcome to Japanese with Meg. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

We provide online Japanese language lessons. Bookings are made through Acuity Scheduling.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the services at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our services.

3. Booking and Payment

All bookings are made through Acuity Scheduling.

Payment is processed through Stripe using a credit card.

We do not store credit card information. Stripe handles all payment data.

4. Cancellation, Refunds, Memberships, and Packages

Single Lesson Bookings

・If you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, you will receive a full refund.

・Stripe processing fees are non-refundable.

・Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are non-refundable.

Monthly Subscriptions

・Monthly subscription fees are charged automatically on each renewal date and are non-refundable once payment has been processed.

・You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next month, please cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date.

・Once your subscription is canceled, no further automatic payments will be charged.

• For 2-Lesson Monthly Plans, unused lessons do not roll over to the following month.

• For 4-Lesson Monthly Plans, one unused lesson may be carried over to the following month. A rolled-over lesson must be used by the end of that following month and cannot be carried over again.

・Unused or rolled-over lessons cannot be carried over after the subscription has ended.

・Additional lessons may be purchased separately at the regular single-lesson rate, subject to availability.

Lesson Packages

・Lesson packages are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.

・Each package includes the number of lessons specified at the time of purchase and must be used within the stated validity period.

・Unused lessons expire at the end of the validity period and cannot be carried over or refunded.

・Lessons booked using a package are subject to the same 24-hour cancellation policy as single lesson bookings. If a lesson is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, the lesson credit will be returned to the package.

・Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are non-refundable, and the lesson credit will not be returned to the package.

・Package purchases are non-refundable once payment has been processed.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided (audio, scripts, vocabulary lists, PDFs, etc.) is protected by copyright.

You may not copy, distribute, share, or use the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the lesson.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
